Kwik Fit Wallington

Project: MOT Bay Supply + Installation
ISN Garage Assist Lead Installation Engineers, Joe Morgan and Nigel O'Neil joined forces to upgrade the MOT test facility at the busy Kwik-Fit Centre in Wallington.
Their mission involved carefully removing and protecting the existing Head Lamp Aligner before decommissioning and dismantling the old 4 Post Lift and Brake Tester. Then came the installation of a Class IV Rotary Automated Test Lane (ATL) lift, a Majorlift 2Ton Jacking Beam and a Class IV BM4010 Brake Tester including camera, before carefully re-Installing the Headlamp Aligner, painting the black and yellow hatchings around the MOT bay, then calibrating and certificating of all the equipment.
Centre Manager, Justin Russell was very happy with the results; "Joe and Nigel had to spend a lot more time on the electrics than originally anticipated but they worked hard to ensure the bay was up and running with very little disruption. Now we have a single-person operation ATL, which will really improve the efficiency of our MOT service."
