AMN Garage Assist – Service Engineer – [South East/ North West/ Nationwide other]
Position – Service / Break Down / Calibration / Garage Equipment Engineer
Location – Based from home
Holidays – 20 days (plus statutory bank holidays)
Equipment provided – Company vehicle, tablet, mobile phone, workwear
Scope – Service, maintain and repair of a wide range of Garage Equipment, to include MOT bays, lifts, tyre changers, and wheel balancers
AMN Garage Assist is one of the UK’s fastest-growing Garage Equipment Service providers. Due to successfully winning a number of new, large, contracts we currently have vacancies within our team for engineers to assist with the service and calibration of all types of garage equipment.
Essential requirements include:
• Good working knowledge of garage equipment
• Excellent communication skills, towards customers and work colleagues
• Work under own supervision
• Flexible and willing to work ad hoc hours as required
• Full UK driving license is a must
• Able to ensure own van stock meets requirements of jobs
• Ability to understand procedures and job instructions, specific to company standards

Training will be given and ongoing development is offered, but a good level of education, ideally with relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous.
AMN Garage Assist – Small Tools/Service Engineer
As part of its modernisation process AMN Garage Assist is relaunching its mobile Small Tool Calibration Service with new Systems, Vehicles and additional Road Staff.
We are now inviting applicants in the South of England ( ideally based M4 corridor ) and possibly Central Scotland. Ideally the applicant will have a leaning towards Systems and Processes and an understanding of how Tools function including: Torque Wrenches, Micrometres, Vacuum and Compression Instruments, Air Measurement Devices amongst others.
Our Customer base includes Dealerships, Body Shops, Recovery Specialists and many others to include any environment that has a control over the Calibration and Compliance of Small Tool requirements .
Our Employment criteria is as follows:
- Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
- Good communication skills.
- Completion and submission of necessary paperwork accurately & in a timely fashion.
- Compliance to laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.
- Liaising with Service Controller.
You will also require:
Full UK driving license is required with a minimum 3 years clean record. Prepared for overnight stays from home if required. Flexible approach to working hours Enthusiasm, Drive and Commitment are essential attributes.
